Description
Minage is the album in which Mónica Naranjo approaches Mina's universe with respect and reinterpretation, bringing those melodies into her own vocal language, more dramatic and expansive. The result is a cover album with its own identity, built on intense arrangements and a very marked emotional narrative, where each track is conceived as a scene.
Among its most recognizable tracks are “Sobreviviré,” turned into an anthem within her repertoire, “Ahora, Ahora” and “Amando Locamente,” which maintain the album's most immediate pulse. Also shining are “Perra Enamorada” and “¡Qué Imposible!,” with that balance between power and vulnerability, and on the B side there are more atmospheric moments like “Inmensidad” and “Abismo,” along with “If You Leave Me Now.” The closing is reinforced with “Siempre Fuiste Mío” and “Mi Vida por un Hombre,” and with the added value of “Él Se Encuentra Entre Tú y Yo,” a duet with Mina.
This picture disc vinyl edition presents the album on a single LP with 12 songs, preserving the visual character associated with Minage and its iconography, between the dreamlike and the symbolic. It is a very direct way to return to a key title in her catalog, focused on interpretation and the weight of each chorus, with a repertoire designed to be listened to from start to finish.
