101 Boys of Bel Ami
101 Boys of Bel Ami gathers portraits of 101 models who have been part of the visual universe of the Bel Ami studio from the early nineties to the present. Through these images, a journey is created through one of the most recognizable aesthetics of contemporary homoerotic photography, focused on youth, naturalness, and bodily presence as a visual language.
The volume includes iconic figures in the studio’s history such as Kris Evans, Jack Harrer, Dolph Lambert, Mick Lovell, and Kevin Warhol, along with other models who have defined different stages of its evolution. The photographs, signed by authors linked to the project like Joan Crisol and Dylan Rosser, reflect the continuity of a characteristic style within European gay visual culture.
Published by Salzgeber in large format and hardcover, the book serves as a photographic archive and a representative overview of more than three decades of aesthetic production connected to Bel Ami.
